Generally as an entrepreneur; you do not need any specific qualifications to set up a healthcare business in UK. You will however need a suitably qualified Registered Manager to oversee the day to day management. Relevant experience in the industry will be an added advantage.

As a Healthcare provider, you are required by law to register with the Care Quality Commission if you intend to deliver a regulated activity as stated in Schedule 1 of the Health and Social Care Act (2008) Regulations 2014. Regulated Activities include personal care, accommodation for people who require nursing or personal care. If you are not providing personal care as part of your business, you do not need to register with CQC.
